Community Mobilization for Jason’s Next Status Hearing
Supporters of Jason Vassell will be mobilizing outside the Hampshire Superior Court in Northampton on Thursday, August 6th at 2PM. Following the hearing, Jason’s lawyers will debrief the community on Judge Carhart’s decisions and the status of the case in general.
THURSDAY, August 6th @ 2PM
Hampshire Superior Court
15 Gothic Street
Northampton, MA 01060
It is likely that the discussion will center around whether Carhart intends to have an evidentiary hearing prior to submitting a written report to the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts in support of his Discovery Order from late February. As you may recall, the prosecution appealed the Discovery Order. For a more detailed breakdown of the appeal process, check out
our July update.
