On February 3, 2008 Jason Vassell was the target of a racist hate crime. Since then he has been further victimized by a racist prosecution. We, a coalition of community organizations, students and faculty, seek your support in challenging this racist prosecution.
Upcoming Events
As the Prosecution’s racist prosecution of Jason Vassell continues, the Committee for Justice for Jason, the Pioneer Valley and folks across the country continue to follow this case closely and remind the DA that we are still watching! The Committee has organized community supporters to every one of Jason’s hearings since February 2008, organized rally’s, marches, teach-ins, press conferences, call-in days, letter writing campaigns, and community events in support of Jason. We will continue to fight until true justice is served, so check back often for upcoming events and hearings.
